Dana Kristine Kinsey, age 62, a legend in her own right, decided to take her final bow on September 24, 2024, after a valiant battle with cancer.

Born in 1962 in Moab, UT, Dana lived a life full of laughter, love, and a bit of mischief. Dana was known for her quick wit, infectious laugh, and an uncanny ability to find humor in the most inappropriate places. She leaves behind a family who will forever cherish her quirky sense of humor and her knack for turning even the most mundane moments into unforgettable memories.

Dana was a warrior who faced cancer with unwavering strength and determination. She didn’t just fight cancer; she made it her mission to conquer it with grace and grit. Her courage and tenacity were an inspiration to all who knew her. Though she has left us, her legacy of resilience and her indomitable spirit will continue to inspire us. She truly made cancer her bitch.

In her final days, Dana made sure to remind everyone to “keep laughing, because life is too short to be serious all the time.” She requested that her funeral be a celebration of life.

Dana is survived by her loving family, who will continue to honor her memory by laughing at inappropriate times and finding joy in the little things. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

She is survived by her children, Amber Kristine Kinsey, and Justin (Lindsay) Shaff; siblings, Randy Kinsey, Treve (Stephanie) Kinsey and Shelbey (Justin) Vallejo; four grandchildren, Harrison, Katherine, Madison and Sawyer.
