Region 12 was in Richfield on Wednesday to take on the Cove View Golf course, home of the Richfield Wildcats. Richfield ruled the day shooting a season-low 292, Carbon ended the day in third with a 314.

Juab was right behind Richfield in second with a 310. The Dinos (314), Delta (325), and Emery(343) rounded out the top five. The Wildcats Kaylen Kelsey had the low round of the day shooting a 65 on his home course.

Carbon is sitting in third place in the region after eight matches this season behind Richfield in first place and Juab in second.

The Dinos had three players knotted at the top with a 77, Dayton King, Rydge Butler, and Levi King all tied for the low round for Carbon. Cash Withers made up the rest of the scoring four with an 83. Kolten Wilkinson (102), Tanner Greenhalgh (108), Paxton Falk (114), and Bryken Preston (115) also competed for the Dinos.

Next week the regular season comes to a close at Palisades, the home course of the Manti Templars.

The following week on October 16 & 17 the 3A State Championships will take place at The Ridge Golf Course.
