The Emery Spartans were on the road Wednesday in Richfield to face the rest of Region 12 at the Cove View Golf Course. Richfield claimed the top spot with their lowest round of the year on their home course. The Spartans claimed a fifth-place finish shooting a 343.

The Wildcats shot a season-low 292 for first place, and Juab finished the day in second shooting 310. Carbon (314), Delta (325), and Emery (343) made up the top five. Kaylen Kelsey of Richfield shot a 65 for the low round of the day.

Richfield comfortably leads in first place in the region, followed by Juab, Carbon, Delta, and Emery.  Canyon View, Manti, and North Sanpete complete the field for Region 12.

Champ Justice earned the low round for the Spartans shooting a 77. Bronx Olsen and Alex Hansen both shot an 88, and Brendon Behunin added his 90 to total up the Emery scoring top four.  Crew Behling (92), Ethan Gilbert (94), Bodee Norton (98), and Peyton Nielsen (112) also took part in the Cove View match for the Spartans.

Next week the regular season comes to an end on October 8 at The Palisades, the home course of the Manti Templars.
