Lady Dino volleyball was back on the court on Thursday night to face the Delta Rabbits. Carbon struggled from the outset and was overpowered by the Rabbits as they won in straight sets handing the Dinos their thirteenth loss of the season.

With the loss Carbon sits at 6-13 overall with a 3-8 record in Region 12 play, they hold the No. 16 spot in the latest RPI poll from the Utah High School Activities Association.

The Rabbits came out Thursday night and grabbed a win in the first set 25-17. Set number two was played a little tighter but Delta took the win in it as well by the score of 25-19.

In the third and what would be the final set, the Rabbits came out firing and before the Lady Dinos knew what happened Delta closed them out in three sets with the 25-12 win.

Carbon will be back on the home court on Tuesday when they welcome the No. 1 team in 3A Canyon View (22-2 overall, 11-0 in the region) to Price. Back on September 12, the Lady Dinos made the trip to Cedar City dropping the match 3-0.

Game time is set for  6:30 p.m..
