
Lady Panthers volleyball was on the road Friday to take on the Utah Military Academy Camp Williams Mauraders. This was the second time these two teams faced each other in eight days with the Lady Panthers taking the win in the first match in Price 3-0. Friday the venue changed but the result was another win for Pinnacle 3-0.
The Panthers sit at 4-12 overall and 0-7 in region play. On Thursday they traveled to Monticello to face the Buckaroo, and Monticello earned a 3-0 win. RPI rankings have been removed from public view until October 23 when the final rankings will be released along with the bracket for the 1A State Championships, which will begin on Oct. 26.
On Friday, the Panthers jumped out taking a win in the first set 25-15. In the second set, the Mauraders turned up the intensity but the Panthers matched it and then some, taking a 26-24 win.
Pinnacle turned around in the third set, which was another close one taking a 25-22 win.
The Lady Panthers will close out the regular season on Tuesday when the Green River Pirates come to Price. On October 7, the two teams met up in Green River, where the Pirates took the match 3-2.
Game time is set for 6:15 p.m., and with it being the final home game it will be Senior Night.
