On Saturday morning the Utah High School Activities Association released the final RPI rankings for 3A, and the Carbon Dinos ended the regular season in the No. 10 spot. Coming off their loss on Thursday night to Canyon View the Dinos finished the regular season 3-7 and went 0-5 in Region 12 play.

Two undefeated teams sit atop the 3A rankings. Morgan and Richfield ended the regular season with identical 10-0 records. Grantsville landed at No. 3 with an 8-2 mark followed by Manti at No. 4 (7-3) and Juab at No. 5 (6-4). Ogden, Juan Diego Catholic, Canyon View, North Sanpete, Carbon, and Union comprised the rest of the field.

The Dinos will travel to Draper on Friday to face the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle. Juan Diego went 5-5 overall and finished their region schedule at 3-2. The Soaring Eagles are seven years removed from a State Championship and that same season was the last time these two teams met up in the first round of the 2017 State Championships where they beat the Dinos 66-6.
