President Franklin D. Roosevelt once famously said,” Democracy cannot succeed unless those who express their choice are prepared to choose wisely. The real safeguard of democracy, therefore, is education.” To aid in this education, Castle Country Radio has put together a guide for general election information with important dates, times and locations to make sure you know how, when and where to vote. As for the who, that is up to you.

General

Oct. 25 is the last day to register to vote without having to vote provisionally. Voters wanting to register will need to show a valid form of photo identification that shows their name, photograph and current address or two different forms of identification that show their name and current address, i.e., utility bill, bank statement, etc.

For those voting using mail-in ballots, the state has provided a tool to track your ballot to ensure that it gets counted. That tracker can be found here.
