
Judy Lorraine Larsen Rowley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024, surrounded by her family, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. She was born on March 11, 1946, in Cleveland, Utah, to Donald and Sybil LaRue Stevenson Larsen.
Judy married the love of her life, Ray Rowley, on June 12, 1965. Their bond deepened when they were sealed in the Manti Temple on September 9, 1972, marking the beginning of a lifelong journey filled with faith and devotion. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home, where their love blossomed and their family flourished.
Judy dedicated many years of her life to working with children at Huntington Elementary and in the Primary, where her passion for education and a nurturing spirit touched the lives of countless students. Her compassion and dedication to others will be remembered by all who knew her.
Judy loved spending her time with family. There was always a good meal and plenty of treats for anyone who entered her home. Many good memories were made with family at her home and this was her passion. She loved to take care of all her family.
Judy’s spirit will live on through her family, who will carry her love in their hearts forever. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her unwavering strength, infectious laughter, and the love she so generously shared.
Judy is survived by her husband, Ray; her siblings, Brent and Brad Larsen; and her three sons, Alan (Tami), Tracy (Shellet), and Craig. She was a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren and cherished the joy of four great-grandchildren, with two more on the way.
Judy is preceded in death by both her parents; son, Rodney; and daughter-in-law, Robyn.
A funeral service will be held at the Huntington Stake Center (240 North Main Street) on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., with a viewing preceding the service from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., where family and friends can come together to honor her remarkable journey. Interment will follow the service in the Huntington City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Mitchell Funeral Home where family and friends are always welcome.
