LeRoy Gene “Skipper” Noone, Jr., age 62, passed away November 1, 2024 after his long hard fight from cancer.

Skipper was born in Rockford, Illinois on August 7, 1962 to Shirley Wheaton and LeRoy Noone, Sr. If you knew LeRoy, Jr., you would have known to never call him by his given name; he would in fact, let you call him Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle, or Skipper, and on the rare occasion, if you were close to him, some other choice names. We say this with a good sense of humor, because he definitely had one.

Skipper was married five times; he sure did love being in love. He helped create four beautiful children: Amber Livingston (Jeffrey Moss), Lane (Ashlyn) Pell, Bobbie Pell, and Jeremiah Noone.

There is so much we could say about our father; he loved to fish, golf, play pool and dice, woodworking, and many more things, but the one he loved the most, even more than the ladies, was riding his bike.

“One last Hurrah, one last ride!” If you have a bike, please ride it, even if it’s cold. If you don’t, then Dad is laughin’ at you for being a chicken!

Skipper is survived by all four of his children and his six grandchildren, Jaydin Livingston, Shyle Livingston, Molly Pell, Quinley Pell, Haize Noone, and Sawyer John; his brother, Bruce Noone; sisters, JaiLene (Shane) Lindsey, Karla Noone, and Christie Noone.

He is preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Shirley (Bud) Peterson; father and stepmother, LeRoy (Debbie) Noone, Sr., and brother, Luke Noone.

Memorial service, Thursday, November 7, 2024, 3:00 p.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
