Our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Ann Kay Marsing (Annie), passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the University of Utah Hospital on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Annie was born on April 23, 1945, in Price, Utah, to Ralph and Lola Mae Miller Marsing. She was an only child. She married Ronald Archibald, and they had four boys: Tony, Chris, Brian, and Steve. They later divorced.

Annie graduated from Carbon High School in 1963 and later got her associate degree in psychology at the College of Eastern Utah in 1990. Annie owned her own business called “Modo Day,” a local clothing store. Annie moved on to have several different jobs such as photographer at the Sun Advocate. After the Sun Advocate she moved on to work at the Forest Service in the CCEP program.

Annie had many different hobbies such as shootin’ pool, bowling, and screaming for her favorite football team, the Denver Broncos. Annie had a love for many things such as the outdoors, animals (especially cats), cooking, family, God, and being a member of “New Life Ministries” of Helper, Utah. Annie was a very active mother and grandmother when it came to following her children and grandchildren in sports and loved them all unconditionally.

Annie is survived by her sons, Chris Archibald of Price, Utah, Brian (Cheryl) Archibald of Durrant, OK, Steve (Robin) Archibald of Price, Utah; family friends, Shandell Archibald, and Jeri Rhett; 10 grandchildren, Samantha, Elianna, Jenaya, Austin (Marinda), Trevor (Suli), Alexis (Wyatt) Nelson, Harrison (Jeanae), Jaxan, Audrey, and Kayden; three great-grandchildren, Luena Archibald, Nigel Nelson, Montgomery Nelson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lola Mae Marsing; son, Tony Archibald; granddaughter, Emily Archibald; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service, Friday, November 15, 2024, 11:00 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street, Price, Utah 84501). The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Interment, Cliffview Cemetery, Price, Utah. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Ann Kay online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
