The holidays are finally here, and along with the joy and celebration of the season comes a major source of stress: Holiday shopping. Luckily in the Castle Country Area, there is a remedy to this, the Trinity Christian Center’s Christmas Craft Market, which will be held on Friday, Nov. 29, and Saturday, Nov. 30. Karen Oliveto from the TCC stopped by the KOAL newsroom to give us a closer look at the event.

Opening our conversation, Oliveto gave an insider perspective as to what booths may be present at the market,” All of our vendors are local, and we’ve got everything from baby items, cooking, baking. We’ve got fresh breads, soup mixes. We have jewelry. There’s going to be some unusual and unique jams and jellies and marinades. Just a little bit of everything so that you can find a gift for anybody on your list.” explained Oliveto,” I even have a little young man who will be doing a coffee and cocoa bar and selling cookies. He’s seven years old and he loves doing it. He has a blast and he’s cute. He’s even paying for his own booth fee.”

The cost to participate as a vendor is $10, but this entry fee goes toward funding several community aid programs sponsored by the church. “ One of the programs that this helps is the Trinity Food Pantry, which is open to anybody in the community.” Oliveto continued,” I’ve started doing more and more fundraising just because I feel like the church does a lot of great things for the community, but it is hard to do that if you don’t have funding.”

The Trinity Christian Center’s Christmas Craft Market will be held on Friday, Nov. 29, and Saturday, Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Trinity Christian Center is located at 925 East Main Street in Price.
