The Pinnacle Lady Panthers are sitting at 4-0 for the first time in over a decade after their win on Monday night at American Preparatory Academy. Pinnacle came out in the first quarter blanking the Eagles and kept the momentum going throughout the contest to earn the 39-20 win.
Coming out in the first quarter, Pinnacle shut down APA holding them scoreless and collecting nine points. The Eagles were able to find some offense in the second quarter putting up eight and the Lady Panthers added 11 more to put the score at 20-8 going into the locker room for half time.
Coming out for the third quarter, the Panthers continued to push the Eagles to the brink as they held American Prep to just six points in the quarter and were able to extend their lead to 31-17. In the final eight minutes, both teams slowed the pace with the Panthers keeping the Eagles at a distance allowing six points once again and then closing the door on APA 39-20 moving the Lady Panthers to 4-0.
Heather Kerr had another amazing performance for Pinnacle with 21. Jostyn McLean added 10 and Kaydence Romero and Jazmyne Mullis each scored 4 in the win.
Pinnacle heads into the Thanksgiving break and will not get back on the court until Tuesday December 3, when they will welcome American Leadership Academy for their first home game of the season.
