Pamela Jean Felice, age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Castleview Hospital in Price, Utah on Saturday, December 28, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Pam was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 22, 1946, to Eugene and Sue Stanfill. She graduated from Western High School and moved to Price, Utah to attend CEU. She often shared memories of fun times growing up, including her first job at The Riviera and a dress shop at the Hilton Hotel.

At age 16, her dad bought her, her first car– a Corvair. This ignited her love of cars, which later included a  ‘67 Chevy Impala and an ‘85 red Ford Mustang GT (her personal favorite).

Pam and Frank were married in Vegas on January 28, 1967, and created a life together in Helper, Utah. They had three children: Richard, Sharon, and Gary.

Pam was the matriarch of the family, leaving behind an extraordinary legacy and many family traditions that will continue through her children and grandchildren.

Pam was baptized into the Catholic Church on July 29, 1967. Her greatest passion was teaching, spending over 30 years of service as the Director of Religious Education at St. Anthony of Padua. Alongside her team of teachers, they worked to instill the importance of each sacrament the students were working to receive. That group of teachers quickly became not only friends but more like sisters. Even as the years passed, she remembered every student by name and cherished the memories made. Pam lived with an unwavering faith in God and took thoughtful care in praying each day for loved ones, strangers, and those in need.

Together, Pam and Frank created a beautiful garden, with dozens of rose bushes and a meticulously cut lawn. She enjoyed a wide range of music (especially Elvis, Van Morrison and recently, Ed Sheeran). She loved golfing, cooking, trips to Park City, hotel room service, and treating friends and family to dinner (ordering every appetizer on the menu and an entree) with a glass of wine or sometimes even a shot of tequila.

Her positive outlook, humor, and joy for life was contagious. Even through life’s toughest trials, she knew just the right words to say to get the nurses and hospital staff to laugh.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Stanfill and Sue Stanfill; and the love of her life, Frank Felice.

Survived by her sisters, Cheryl Stanfill and Linda Alvarez; brother, Richard Stanfill; children, Richard Felice, Sharon Felice, and Gary (Jami) Felice; grandchildren, Brittny (Morgan) McGaha, Jason Warren, Brock (Angie) Warren, Katie (Wyatt) Martinez, Nicole (John) Seggelke, Samantha (Steven) Jensen, and Shannon Tallerico; great-grandchildren, Madden, Kaylee and Kendall Jean McGaha, Finneas Frank Warren, Kason Seggelke, Brooklyn Jensen, McHale Tallerico, Alisa (Jackson) Norvell, Alexis (Hunter) Sherman, and Michael (Sabrina) Tallerico.

Pam and her family would like to extend a special thank-you, and their deepest appreciation towards Karen Bosone who drove her to many chemo treatments in Provo (which always turned into a fun girl’s day), her cousin (best friend) Delores Slavensky, and many others who were only a phone call away and helped facilitate her care. Also, a sincere thank-you to Dr. Etzel, the nursing staff at Castleview Hospital, as well as Dr. Rich, the nurses at Utah Valley Hospital, and the staff at Mitchell Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Anthony of Padua Parish Center and CCD classes in Pam’s memory.
