Harold Hendrik Hensley, lovingly known as Hank, age 73, passed away Christmas evening after being ill for the past several years.

Hank came into this world on July 4, 1951 with a “bang” and went out with a bang. Hank loved his life, his family, and friends.

Most of his adult life, he spent driving long haul as well as local deliveries. He met his wife, Paula Jean Crum, while working for Cream O’Weber in Highland delivering milk to the elementary school where she worked as a custodian. Yes, she married the milkman! They’ve been married for 37 years.

Hank loved to go fishing with his family and friends. He was the President of Datus Archery for several years. He loved woodworking, turning wood and antler into works of art. He also loved making his “Trees of Life” and sharing those with others. One of his favorite things to do was to walk to his neighbor’s house and have a cup of coffee and discuss “The State of the Union”.

I am sure those who met him in Heaven were as excited to see him, as those who remain behind are sad to not have him stay.

He will be missed by his wife, children, grandkids, great-grandkids, brothers, sisters, as well as his dear neighbors and friends.

Per Hank’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price and Huntington where friends and family are welcome to share memories of Hank online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
