The Lady Spartans wrestling team traveled to the Utah Winter Classic in Richfield. Out of 33 teams that made the trip to the Sevier Valley Center Emery would finish in 21st place.

Dazi Thatcher was the top finisher for Emery earning a fifth-place finish with a 4-3 record, defeating Hillary Weakley of Springville.

Karen Whitmore at 235 pounds and Annzlie Bell at 140 each earned tenth place finishes for their work over the weekend.

The Lady Spartans will get back on the mat on Thursday when they will welcome the North Sevier Wolves to the Spartan Center.
