The Spartans wrestling squad welcomed the South Sevier Rams to the Spartan Center on Wednesday night. Earning victories in 10 out of 14 matches they took the team win 60-24 over the Rams.

All matches that Emery earned a win in, were by pin. There were two losses on the slate that were lost due to forfeit.

Getting us started at 106 pounds Xavier Nelson earned a victory over the Rams’ Chasen Fillmore. Ty Christiansen won his match at 113 pounds over Brody Fillmore. Ryder Rollins at 120 pounds, Dixon Peacock at 126, Ryan Collard at 132, and Corbin Jensen at 138 were all victorious for Emery.

Rayden Ewell at 144 pounds earned a pin in his win over William Chappell, Taylor Canterberry at 157, Boden Christman at 165, and Joshua Howard at 285 were all winners on Wednesday night.

Emery will get right back on the mat on Thursday when they will face North Sevier at the Spartan Center.
