Bethel Three of Job’s Daughters International is preparing to host their ‘Daddy Daughter Dance’ on Saturday, Feb. 8. Castle Country Radio was joined by Megan Tucker from the organization to speak on the event and learn more about what the evening will entail.

The event’s purpose is to help introduce residents of Castle Country to the Job’s Daughters organization while also creating a fun environment for those in attendance. Tucker explained what Job’s Daughters is,” Job’s Daughters International is a group for girls from 10 to 20, and it teaches leadership, public speaking, self-confidence, and how to put yourself out there in the world.”

The event follows a formal format which in part extends to the dress code, with Tucker stating,” We would like formals, but it’s not a requirement, just a dress or a nice shirt, whatever you’re feeling. But it doesn’t have to be super fancy.”

Attending the dance will cost families up to three people $5 to participate, with every attendee thereafter costing an additional $2. The dancing and refreshments will be included in the cost. For an additional $5 tiaras can be purchased.

In terms of the dancing, Tucker explained,” We want to do some line dancing. We’re going to learn some and then teach it to everybody.”

RSVPs to the event are encouraged. To do so, contact either Kara Maynes at 435-650-3623 or BreAna Tucker at 435-650-2035.

The Job’s Daughters international ‘Daddy Daughter Dance’ will take place on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Price Masonic Temple at 39 North, 100 East.
