The Pinnacle Panthers were on the road on Thursday evening in Montezuma Creek to face the Whitehorse Raiders. Whitehorse came out early and put the Lady Panthers away taking the 62-19 win.
The Raiders came out in the first quarter and scored at will, putting up 18, and defensively clamped down on Pinnacle, allowing them just four points in the first eight minutes. Moving into the second Whitehorse put up another 18 and would take a huge 36-9 lead into the locker room at halftime.
The second half was a little slower, but the Raiders had built enough of a lead that they could ease off but still keep on top of the Lady Panthers. Whitehorse added 14 in the third and another 12 in the fourth while allowing Pinnacle 10 in both periods. The Raiders finished the contest and handed the Lady Panthers a 62-19 loss, their tenth of the season.
