On Friday the Lady Dino wrestling team was on the road in Orem at Mountain View High School for the All-Girls Invitational. Carbon placed 11 out of 41 teams with Rickelle Collins leading the way finishing a perfect 4-0 earning a first-place finish in the 170-pound weight class.

The Lady Dinos season is winding down with just three matches left before the divisional round on February 1.

Collins came up big for the Lady Dinos collecting wins in her first three rounds, and then in her final match against Darryn Matagi of Mountain View would earn a win by pin.

Kallie Lefler at 100 pounds earned a second-place finish with her 3-1 record. Brookleigh Unsworth went 2-1 at the tournament to claim second place at 125.

Emma Parker in the 125A class and Yo sea Romo in the 125B class each took 3rd, and Isabella Galarza who went 2-3 in the 170-pound class took third as well.

The Lady Dinos will get back on the mat on Tuesday when they will welcome Emery to the gym at Carbon High.
