Our loving father, brother, son, and papa, Waco Reese Randall, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. He was born on July 25, 1971, in Cedar City, Utah to Larry Reese and Katie Carolyn Alford Randall, he was the 4th out of 5 children. He graduated in 1989 from Emery High School where he excelled in academics and sports.

When he was 17, he enlisted in the Utah Army National Guard where he Honorably served for 22 years. He deployed to Germany in 1991 for Desert Storm and to Iraq in 2003-2004 for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Waco retired in 2010 as a Sgt. First Class from Recruiting and Retention Command. During his time in the guard, Waco met Diane Snarr and were married on July 18, 1992, in Taylorsville, Utah. Waco and Diane were together for 25 years where they were blessed with three children, Brandon, Kaitlyn, and Ryan who turned out to be the most wonderful kids they could ever ask for, and the cause of a few gray hairs while raising them.

Waco and Diane later divorced, but continued to have a good friendship, and would check up on each other. Waco was a lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and always looked forward to the yearly hunting trips to Louisiana and Florida with his father and brothers. Waco was known by a few names. He was called Dad and Uncle Reese, but his favorite was Papa, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Waco had many long-lasting friendships. Whether you knew him from his childhood, school, his time in the guard, or if you had just barely met him, he had a huge impact on everyone’s lives. That impact has stretched farther than any of us could have imagined.

He is survived by his parents, Larry and Carolyn Randall of Elmo; three Children, Brandon (Amanda) Randall of Price, Kaitlyn (James) Birch of Elmo, and Ryan (Kaitlyn Cave) Randall of Price; five grandchildren, JoeyRay Birch, Aiden, Harper, MayLynn Randall, and Brantlee Leonard; two sisters, Roxanne (Kirk) Jensen of Cleveland and Rhonda (Big Bob) Birch of Price; and two brothers, Thayne Rex (Lydia) Randall of Quincy, FL, and William Ray (Trexie) Randall of Brighton, CO. He is also survived by a few uncles, aunts, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his nephew, Richard Simmons.
