
Our loving father, mother, and grandparents, Connie Lee Rowley Allen passed away on January 25, 2025 and Dean DeLoy Allen quickly followed the love of his life and passed away on January 26, 2025 after both battling many years of health issues. They peacefully passed away in the comfort of their home surrounded by their family. The love they showed towards each other was evident of the type of couple they were and the two of them could not live life one without the other.
Connie was born on January 1, 1947 in Huntington, Utah to Ermon Jewell Rowley and Ruby Eldora Rowley and Dean was born on July 25, 1947 in Cleveland, Utah to Lewis LaMont Allen and Alice Lucile Allen.
Dean and Connie were married in the Manti Temple on September 17, 1966.
Together, Dean and Connie left behind their four children, Todd (Julie) Allen of Eagle Mountain, Utah, Mark (Velvet) Allen of Congress, Arizona, Travis (Chazel) Allen of Brigham City, Utah, and Stephanie (Aaron) Reeve of Clawson, Utah; and 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. They are also survived by siblings, Dick Huntington, Karen (Kenneth) Huntington, Ray Rowley, Joy (Rex) Minchey, Eva (Bill) Brinley, Ellen (Brian) Jex, Earlene Allen, Rolene Rasmussen, and Zelma (Jack) Minchey.
They are preceded in death by their parents, Lewis LaMont and Alice Lucile Allen, Ermon Jewell and Ruby Eldora Rowley; Rowley siblings, Lynn Huntington and Judy Rowley; Allen siblings, Louis Allen, Reva Fillmore, Melba Oviatt, Loretta Mae Allen, Jim Allen, Margaret Consuelo Allen, Hugh Allen, and Ray Lynn Allen; and grandson, Mont Allen.
The family wishes to thank Symbii Home Health and Hospice, as well as Mitchell Funeral Home and their staff for the care they provided to Dean and Connie and their family.
Joint Funeral Services for Dean and Connie will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bluehills Ward Chapel (35 West 200 North) in Ferron. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Clawson Town Cemetery.
