The Lady Panthers started their playoff run on Saturday on the road in Monticello. This was the third time the two teams would meet up this season and it would be a tough one for Pinnacle as they would lead throughout the contest and suffered a letdown in the final eight minutes falling 38-37, ending their season.

The Lady Panthers entered the post-season with the No. 17 spot in the RPI, drawing Monticello in the play-in game on Saturday.

In the opening quarter, the Panthers seemed in control outscoring the Buckaroo 14-9 moving into the second period. Things calmed down a bit but the Panthers could still maintain and build upon their lead as the teams would go into the locker room at halftime with Pinnacle up 21-14.

In the second half, the Buckaroos started to make their move. They found another gear and were able to match the Lady Panthers. The two teams went into the final eight minutes with the same seven-point deficit. In the fourth, Monticello turned it around completely and could not only erase the Pinnacle lead but add seven more to earn a one-point lead and end the Lady Panthers season.

Heather Kerr led the Lady Panthers with 14 points. Kaydence Romero and Jostyn McLean each had eight in the loss.

The Panthers ended their season with an 8-16 overall mark and went 0-6 in region play.
