Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Patsy Jensen, passed away February 23, 2025 in Price, Utah after a short battle with cancer.
She was born on March 16, 1947 in Price, Utah to Carl Peet Wolfrom and Esther Scheuer. Patsy was the 2nd child. Her father passed away when she was 12 and she is enjoying a sweet reunion with him.
Patsy graduated from Carbon High School in 1965. She attended C.E.U. and then went on to the University of Utah where she studied business. She worked at Carbon Emery Bank, which later became Zions Bank, for 32 years. When she retired, she was dearly missed by the many customers and coworkers whose lives she touched over the years. She always greeted everyone with a smile.
Patsy married Dennis Jensen on July 31, 1966 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple on February 5, 1999. Her greatest blessing in life was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Patsy joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while her son Jeremy was serving a mission. She was a faithful member of the Carbonville Ward for many years and had a special ability to listen, understand problems, and touch the lives of others.
Patsy didn’t want to be left out. She loved playing golf, boating, water skiing, camping, and especially enjoyed going to Lake Powell. When she wasn’t enjoying the outdoors, Patsy liked to sew and work on crafts.
Patsy was preceded in death by her father, Carl Peet Wolfrom; stepfather, Thomas Burgess; mother, Esther Burgess; and a stillborn brother; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Merrill and Lena Jensen; brother-in-law, Nickie Jensen; and sister-in-law, Valene Houston.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Jensen; son, Jeremy Jensen (Sandra); and step-children, Justin Jensen, Deborah Jensen, and DaNeen Kirkwood; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Castleview Hospital ICU, the Huntsman Cancer Center ICU, and a special thanks to Lindsey Callahan at Pinnacle Nursing Home who made her feel at home coming back to Price.
Funeral Services will be held at the Carbonville Ward Chapel (1985 West 4000 North) in Spring Glen on Saturday March 1, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Cliffview Cemetery in Price. Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main St.) on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at the church Saturday morning one hour prior to services.
