On Monday, the long offseason ended for the Carbon baseball team when they welcomed the Grand Red Devils to Price. They played on through the snow, but the Red Devils came away with the 16-2 victory.
Ever since the season ended last May, the Dinos have been looking to get back on the field and Monday was their first opportunity to face an opponent.

In the bottom half, Paxton Falk came up to the plate with two outs and nobody on and hit a double to center. Logan Madrigal was the next batter up and sent a ground ball to second driving in Falk to get the Dinos on the board.

The rest of the contest was relatively quiet, with the Red Devils adding a pair of runs in the top of the fifth, but in the top of the sixth the Grand bats came to life putting up nine runs and closing out the Dinos 16-2.
