Carolyn Christensen Birch, age 84, of Helper, Utah passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at Pinnacle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Price, Utah.
Carolyn was born on April 20, 1940 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah to John and Flometta Bowels Christensen.
She married Timothy “Tim” Ray Birch on November 14, 1964 in Helper, Utah. Tim later preceded Carolyn in death on January 24, 2012. Shortly after Tim passed, Carolyn was able to go and be sealed to her husband, Tim and son, Micheal in the Payson Utah Temple on November 14, 2015.
Carolyn loved to embroider and cross stitch dish towels for senior citizens in the area. She enjoyed to read and do all different types of word search puzzles. Carolyn was an avid fan of the Utah Jazz. She loved to watch their games. Carolyn also enjoyed to collect all types of bears and to go on drives in the surrounding canyons.
Carolyn is survived by her two sons, John Scott (Michelle) Birch of Cleveland, Utah and Kirk Ray Birch of Helper, Utah; one sister, Sharon Limone of Helper, Utah; two grandsons, Dalton Birch of Orlando, Florida and Derrick Birch of Cleveland, Utah; and many nieces and nephews who she adored and cherished.
She is preceded in death by her sweetheart of 52 years, Timothy Ray Birch; her parents; son, Micheal Jay; and brother-in-law, Robert Limone.
Funeral Service, Friday, March 14, 2025, 11:00 a.m., Helper Stake Center (150 Ridgeway Street) in Helper. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and on Friday morning from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service both at the stake center in Helper. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery in Helper.
