On March 5, the Carbon tennis team traveled to Monroe to face the South Sevier Rams. On that day, the Dinos suffered a 5-0 loss. Wednesday, Carbon managed one win but still was handed another loss, 4-1.

Coming off a fourth-place finish at the Carbon Invitational, the Dinos were scheduled to welcome the North Sanpete Hawks to Price on Tuesday but will now face them on Friday in Price.

The Dinos’ only match win came in the third singles match, when Zander Carrillo beat South Sevier’s Carson Blackburn in straight sets, 6-4 and 6-4.

The first doubles match was a tough fight for Josiah Trostle and Judson Varner. Taking a loss in three sets: 1-6, 6-4, and 6-3.

Friday’s matches with North Sanpete are set to start at 3:30 p.m.
