Carbon finally welcomed North Sanpete to Price in a match originally scheduled for Tuesday. The Dinos won four out of five matches to win 4-1.
The weather on Tuesday caused problems for all sporting events in Carbon and Emery counties, and all games needed to be rescheduled. The match with North Sanpete was moved to Friday.
Carbon won all three singles matches quickly. Nicholas Bryner won 6-1 and 6-2. Memphis Howell won 6-4 and 6-2 in second singles, and Zander Carrillo’s third singles match against Kaden Cox was a straight-set win 6-1, 6-4.
Carbon’s Judson Varner and Carter Abbott struggled in doubles, losing 6-0 and 6-3. The first set in the second doubles match of Rylen Hatch and Oliver Steele was a dogfight, but they earned a 7-5 win and then came back and took a 6-4 win in the second set.
Carbon travels to Moab for the Grand Tournament on March 28.
