Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Chris LeAnn Christensen, born to Angelo Melo and Bessie Guerrero in Moab, Utah on December 22, 1960, left us on March 30, 2025, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.
Chris loved to be busy whether it being out in her yard, shopping for antiques, building furniture, fishing, or spending time with her family. There was no project too difficult that she wouldn’t tackle because she lived by the saying, “where there’s a will there’s a way, but you gotta be willing to make that way,” something she learned from her father. Everything she does, she does with passion and integrity. Chris had the greatest work ethic. She had a competitive nature when it came to winning against her siblings and family. She’d make us laugh because she’d say, “win if you can, lose if you have to, but always cheat.”
Chris loved to cook and she made the best Italian food, especially her raviolis. She lived honestly and had pride in her morals. Anytime spent with Chris, turned into a memory of love and laughter and she had a love for all her family and friends; Chris would do anything for anyone.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Harold “Perry” Christensen, Jr.; her son, Perry Christensen of Beaver Dam; her daughter, Angie (Ryan) Lee of Price; five grandchildren, Creedence Christensen, Kayden (Danna) Lee, Kayla Lee, Titan Christensen, and Tatum Christensen; two great-grandchildren, Walker and Kaizlee Christensen; brothers, Frank (Cindy) Melo, George (Marnie) Melo, and Randy (Sam) Melo; and sisters, Wanda (Rick) Parry, Barbara (Mike) Garcia, and Margie (Pat) Garcia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo (Jean) Melo and Bessie Guerrero; and her brother, Angelo Melo.
The family wishes to express their many thanks to all of the staff at the Good Life Senior Living and Memory Care Center in Price, Utah and to Symbii Home Health. You all have been amazing; our mom loved you all! Thank-you for all you do!
