
Leova Trujillo Barnett peacefully passed away on March 27, 2025. She was born in Los Martinez, New Mexico on July 9, 1945. She grew up in Durango Colorado, and Price, Utah.
She had touched many people’s hearts while living a lifetime of caring for others. She gave all that she had to give to family, friends, and strangers. Mostly, she was a caregiver to everyone that needed her, she selflessly cared for her father, and her son until their journey to be with our Father in heaven.
She enjoyed the small pleasures in life like a peaceful cup of coffee, hard candies, and a quiet night at home. She had a gift of kindness, strength, and compassion for others.
She was survived by her children, Mike Barnett (Kristine Atchinson), Debra Mangum (Mark Mangum), and Royce Barnett; her grandchildren, Jamie Straugh, Natalee Hanson, Joshua Barnett, Sydney Barnett, Micah Barnett, Ashley Wilkinson, Kelsey Barnett, Zachary Barnett, and Britany Bick; her great grandchildren, Justin Dean James, Elizabeth Grace Roberts, Braxton Jae Seal, and Aspen Jane Anderson, Koston Boo Perkins, Goldie Bloom Perkins, Olive Marina-Nicolette Withers, Michelle Deaun Wilkinson, Westin Jason Wilkinson, Cooper Michael Bick.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mike Trujillo; her mother, Dora Trujillo and her son, Victor Barnett.
Funeral service Wednesday, April 2, 2025, 11:00 am Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 am. Interment at Cliffview Cemetery, Price.
