The Spartan soccer team traveled to Delta on Friday to face the Rabbits. Emery is still searching for its first Region 12 win. The Spartans could hold Delta off the board in the first half, but in the second half, the Rabbits found the back of the net three times to take the 3-0 win.

Emery is 1-11 overall and holds the No.17 spot in the latest RPI with five games left in the season.

Emery held the Rabbits scoreless in the first half, and both teams went into halftime tied at 0-0.  Delta broke through the Spartan defense in the second half and found the back of the net three times, taking the win.

According to the latest RPI, four of the five teams Emery will face the rest of the season are among the top seven in 3A.

The No. 3 team, Manti, will be in Castle Dale on Wednesday. These two teams first met on March 14, and the Templars won 8-0.

The game time for the contest is set for 4:00 p.m..
