Donna L Holt, age 60, passed away April 5, 2025, after a long journey with health challenges that she met with quiet strength and persistence.

Though not everyone knew the full extent of her struggles, those close to her witnessed a resilience that carried her through the hardest days.

Donna was born August 6, 1964 in Rochester, Maine to Verl Delale Holt and JoAnn Leavitt Holt.

Donna was a mother, a sister, and a caregiver—roles she held with a sense of duty and heart, even when life made it difficult. She gave what she could, often putting others before herself, even as her own health declined. Even when it wasn’t easy.

Her nieces and nephews remember her fondly—for her laugh, her stories, her thoughtful gestures, and the way she made crepes. In their memories, she lives on as someone who, in her own quiet way, left a lasting mark.

She is survived by her son, Nicolas Thuillier; sister, Beverly J Holt (Denise); brother, Verl (Dale) Holt Jr (Michelle); several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and loving uncles and aunts.

Donna is preceded in death by parents and grandparents.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no formal services. Those who knew her are invited to honor her life in their own way—through a moment of reflection, a shared memory, or a simple act of kindness done in her name.
