On Monday, Lady Spartan golfers traveled to face the Cedar Ridge Golf Course, home of the Canyon View Falcons. Emery’s four combined to shoot a 482, landing them in seventh.

The season is coming to a close, with just one more regular-season match before the Region 12 Championships on April 28.

The Richfield Wildcats continued their dominance, shooting a 341 to claim first place. The Wildcats have not lost a meeting this season. Juab finished second with a 383. Carbon landed in third with a 421, North Sanpete (426), and Manti (446) rounded out the top five. Delta (447), Emery (482), and host Canyon View (494) made up the rest of the field. Abbee Albrecht of Richfield was the top individual with an 80.

Emery’s Lydia Larsen had the low round for the Spartans, shooting a 114; Claire Lindsey carded a 119. Avey Beagley had a 122, and Clarissa Beagley shot a 127.

The final regular-season match will be next Tuesday, April 22, at Skyline Mountain Golf Club, the North Sanpete Hawks’ home course. Six days later, the Region 12 Championships will be held at Lakeside Golf Course in West Bountiful. Lakeside will also host this year’s State Championships, which will take place on May 7 and 8.
