013-22

The Dinos collected another win on Wednesday when the Richfield Wildcats came to town. The first half was all defense, as neither team could get on the scoreboard, but in the second half, Carbon went off, scoring four goals, and the Dinos won 4-0.

Carbon moves to 10-2 overall this season and climbs up one spot to No. 2 in the latest RPI, with two games left.

Both teams played scoreless in the first half of the contest. In the second half, Carbon came alive offensively, scoring four goals. With Cannon Mortensen in goal, he kept the Wildcats off the scoreboard to take the 4-0 win.

Tyler Morris collected two goals for Carbon. Tayger Timothy and Donavyn Prescott each scored goals. Logan McEvoy and Luke Brady each had assists in the win.

Next up for the Dinos is the contest Carbon has been waiting for: the Manti Templars. On March 26, Manti came to Price and claimed a 1-0 win over the Dinos. Carbon sits in second place in Region 12 behind Manti, and the game on Friday will go a long way toward determining who wins the league championship.

After that, they will return home on Tuesday to take on the North Sanpete Hawks on Senior Night. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
