Spartan soccer made the trip to Nephi to face the Juab Wasps. The two teams were tied at halftime, but Juab collected three in the second half to take the 4-1 win over Emery.

Emery slides to 1-15 with the loss and sits at No. 17 on the latest RPI with just one game left on the schedule, the end of the regular season, and the playoffs are just around the corner.

Both teams played even in the first half and went to halftime tied at 1-1. Juab broke down the Spartans’ defense in the second half and found the back of the net three times to take a 4-1 win.

Seth Winter scored the lone goal for Emery in the loss.

On Thursday night, the Spartans welcome the Richfield Wildcats for Senior Night. The game will be under the lights and start at 7:00 p.m.
