The Dino tennis team was back on the court on Tuesday in Richfield, playing the Wildcats in a Region 12 matchup. Even though they still have a couple of events left on the schedule, this was Carbon’s final conference meeting of the season. Richfield would control all matches except for the second singles, where Carter Abbott and Oliver Steele pulled out the victory, but the Wildcats won the meet, 5-1.

Carbon lost all three matches in singles competition, with Nicholas Bryner, Memphis Howell, and Zander Carrillo taking straight-set losses. Carrillo in third singles had a battle on his hands, though falling in the first set 7-6 (8-6), and then again in set two falling 7-5.

Abbott and Steele won in their second doubles match over Dylan Barclay and Onyx Davis 6-4 and 7-6 (7-3).

The Dinos will celebrate their seniors on Wednesday when the Union Cougars come to town. Matches will start at 3:30 p.m.
