Following a wonderful and exciting life, Anita was received by the Lord on April15, 2025.  Anita was the daughter of the late Dr. Joseph and Mary Dalpiaz.  She was born at Price Hospital on February 20, 1938, in Utah.

Anita’s early schooling was at Notre Dame Regional School in Price, Utah where she was taught by the Daughters of Charity.  She graduated from high school in 1955 from the Academy of St. Mary of the Wasatch in Salt Lake City, where she was very active in the student body.  Anita then went to The College of St. Mary of the Wasatch, from where she graduated in 1959 with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Anita started her career as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City.  In 1966 she moved to San Francisco, California where she worked in her profession at University of California Hospital and then at St. Mary’s Hospital where she stayed for over 30 years.

Anita never married, but she was the Godmother of many relatives and friends.  She was outgoing, sports minded and fun-loving.  Her home was always open to family, relatives and friends.

Anita leaves behind her sister, Joan Suellentrop, nieces Connie Mitchell and Judy Suellentrop, and her nephew, Tom Suellentrop, as well as many cousins and relatives.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Friday, May 30, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Helper, Utah.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Anita’s memory to a charity of choice, or to:
