Trailing 1-0 entering the bottom of the first, Carbon captured the lead with a two-out rally, started by Brailee Peterson.
With one runner aboard, Peterson recorded the team’s first RBI of the day with a fly ball to right field, scoring Ardohain. Adams gave Carbon the lead in the ensuing at bat, lacing a line drive double to left field, scoring Peterson.
The second inning belonged to Carbon as the Lady Dinos blew the game open with a 10-run inning. Carbon closed the show in the third by adding five more runs.

The Lady Dinos will now focus on the final three days of the softball season, as the venue shifts to the Spanish Fork Softball Complex.
Each game will be an elimination tilt for the Lady Dinos, starting Thursday at 2:30 pm against an opponent still to be determined. Carbon will square off with No. 2 Morgan or No. 7 Providence Hall. A win would put Carbon in another game on Thursday evening, for a shot to advance on Friday.
