Price is getting primed for a fully loaded weekend in Salt Lake City at Fierce Challenger Series 14 on Saturday afternoon.

Three local fighters will be making the trek up to compete for the very first time under a kickboxing ruleset. The event will consist of three two-minute rounds, with 10-12oz gloves, and rather than an MMA cage, a boxing ring will sit in the center of the Masonic temple.

Fierce Challenger Series alum Kallon Curtis sits in the co-main event slot of this card. Curtis, a 1-0 MMA fighter who primarily comes from the world of wrestling, will put his striking skills to the test alongside Aiden Egler, who hails from Utah’s most active gym, Agema (Provo, Utah).

The youngest fighter in Fierce history graces this card as well. Fierce MMA’s Alex Leyva, at just 18 years and 77 days old at the time of his fight, will face off against 46-year-old Joe Davis. Leyva graduates from Carbon High School on May 20, the Tuesday following his kickboxing debut. This is also the most significant age gap between two fighters in Fierce history at 28 years.

Another 18-year-old from Price debuts on this card, as Cade Olson will face former Iowa wrestler Tristan McDonald. Cade has been piecing it all together for the better part of 9 months under Steve Eargle and looks forward to putting his skills on display.

Fierce Challenger Series 14 is a part of a two-day spectacle. It’s all going down alongside nine other matchups on Saturday afternoon, live from the Masonic Temple in Salt Lake City. Tickets and pay-per-view are on sale now at Fiercefightingchampionship.com.
