With heavy hearts, we announce that Sandra Mae Schade Jewkes passed away peacefully on May 11, 2025, at the age of 75.

Sandra was born on December 2, 1949, in Price, Utah to George and Wauneta Wilson Schade.  Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose presence touched all who knew her.

Sandra’s legacy lives on in her husband, Merrill Brent Jewkes; her four children, DeLynn Mann (Kelly); Shanna Levering (Danny); Danna Spendlove (Robert); and Dale Jones (Amity); her grandchildren, Kasey Barker, Jessie Reid (Rhiannon), Desteni Bohn (Wade), Janna Emfield (Alex), Swayze Levering, Jace Mann, Devyn Mann, Taylor Smith (Todd), Kyler Jones (Ronnie), Keltzey Brokaw (Adam), Koltyn Paulson (Kasidee), Junior Paulson, Lexus Klein (Brynden), Kinkade Jones, and April Pond (Ryan), and her great-grandchildren, Sage Mills, Maddox Barker, Jaggar Barker, Asher Bohn, Knixxon Bohn, Jaxon Bohn, Harper Reid, Grayson Reid, Parker Levering, Lincoln Levering, Dante Hill, Nova Jones, Ember Jones, Rylen Jones, Haevyn Brokaw, Charlie Johnson, Claire Smith, Lincoln Smith, Chloe Smith, Tatum Kling, Jack Pond, Sienna Pond, and Reyna Jones. She is also survived by two of her sixteen siblings, Carl “Ringo” Schade (Judy) and Lynda Smith (Jeff), along with countless extended family members and dear friends who loved her.

Throughout her life, Sandra found joy in music, dancing, camping, and fishing. Her creative spirit shown through her crafts — sewing, quilting, painting, and working with stained glass — but above all, her greatest joy was her family. She found her true happiness in every gathering, every shared memory, and every hug. Her warmth and humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at UP&L Campground in Huntington, Utah, on August 1st thru 3rd, 2025. All are welcome to attend.

Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
