The volleyball teams at Carbon will host Skills Camps starting June 23 and running through June 25 at Carbon High School.

The Lady Dinos Camp will begin in the morning on the 23rd. The cost is $180 for three days of instruction from College clinicians. To get added to the list, text 435-650-2273 or email tmower11@gmail.com. Fees must be paid by June 16 at the Carbon High School office, and a waiver must be filled out (link below) before the camp.

The boys’ camp will take place during the girls’ camp’s rest times on the same days. Coach Landon Fehlberg recently joined KOAL’s Drive Time Sports to discuss the camp.

“We have two different time frames, so the girls are hosting a camp at the same time, so when they take their breaks, we get on the court and get going. So it allows the boys to go through each of the skills and every aspect of development. The individuals that run the camp they are elite volleyball players; they’ve played D1 at the highest levels. They’ve made it to the NCAA finals, they coach, and they are truly honing in on everything that the kids can ever do, and they do it for a couple hours at a time, and then there’s a break, and they come back and do it for a couple more hours, so you do the stuff, then you have time to think about it, what they went over and all that stuff, and then they get back on the court and they say ‘Ok, here we go’, like you’ve lerned it, you’ve gone over it lets do this.”
