Three Lady Dinos were first-time honorees when the All-State list for the 2025 softball season was released on Thursday morning. Senior Danica Adams, junior Kennlee Kennedy, and sophomore Aleece Ardohain were all awarded for their efforts.

Carbon finished 13-16 overall and 8-6 in Region 12, earning the No. 9 spot in the final RPI. After falling in their first round contest to North Sanpete and sliding into the one-loss bracket, the Dinos came out later that afternoon and took out their frustrations on the team from Judge Memorial, taking a 17-1 win. Returning five days later, they would square off with the team from Providence Hall, falling in a close one, 5-4, ending their season.

Coaches across the state vote on the players, and the list of the top players in each classification is compiled annually.

Adams was electric on the mound, collecting 257 strikeouts, ranking her at No. 3 in the state across all classifications. She also had a 2.45 earned run average through 137 innings pitched, earning her first team honors. She helped out her team offensively as well with a .319 batting average, collecting 29 hits, including seven doubles, and 25 RBIs. She came up big for the Lady Dinos in the playoff match-up with Judge Memorial, going 2-2 with three RBIs and a run scored.

Kennedy took home a second-team nod, leading her team with a .391 batting average. She also collected 34 hits, 24 RBIs, and scored 17 runs in her junior campaign.  Kennedy picked her shot in a contest against Richfield, going 3-3 with three RBIs and a pair of runs.

Ardohain, a sophomore, earned an Honorable Mention for her work in the 2025 season. She ended the season with a .372 batting average and was a model of efficiency, with 35 hits, 35 runs, and 21 RBIs. In the April 22 win over Juab, she went 3-5 with four RBI and scored three runs.

Hayden Bytheway of Grantsville was named the 3A MVP while teammate Kira Hart took home the title of playoff MVP.

Congratulations to those who earned All-State Honors for their work in the 2025 season
