With summer well underway, sports camps are at the forefront of preparing for the upcoming sports seasons. Utah State University Eastern Volleyball is preparing to host its 2025 Elite Volleyball Camp on July 19.

The USU Eastern Lady Eagles Volleyball squad has become a nationally recognized program, finishing last season with a 25-8 overall record, having collected the SWAC and District Championships, and achieving a seventh-place overall finish in the country at the National Tournament.

The showcase has a $100 registration fee, and it will be the perfect opportunity to experience college coaching as participants will work on skill development and advanced drills and have the chance to face off against other elite players from around the area. It will also provide an opportunity to be recognized by college-level coaches.

USU Eastern assistant coach Kahea Nihipali explained what the camp is all about:

“This Elite Showcase is an opportunity for high school-aged athletes to develop fundamental volleyball skills and learn more about Utah State Eastern Volleyball. The Utah State Eastern staff will coach athletes throughout the day. This will include a run-through of what a normal practice here looks like and a session of tournament-style scrimmages. Athletes can visit the campus and take a tour to experience what it’s like to play on our team. This is not exclusive to only girls, we would love to have boys join if they are looking for court time and an opportunity to develop skills.”

The showcase is open to students in grades 9 through 12. Click HERE for the registration form.

The fee of $100 is your final step in the process.  Payment can be made online only at www.usueasternathletics.com under the “TICKETS” tab.  They will not receive your complete registration to hold your spot until payment has been made and they receive your receipt.

Check-in will start at 8:30, and the showcase is set to begin at 9:00 at the BDAC.
