Anita Lucia Aguayo Salazar, 79, passed away July 11, 2025 in Price, Utah.

Anita was born February 14, 1946 in Gallup, New Mexico to Joseph R. Aguayo, Sr. and Emily Silva.

Anita was known as many things in this life, a friend, a sister, a mother and much more. She was a simple woman, with a huge heart, that could always be found in her sweats, with her Pepsi, smoking her Newports. She was always ready to help anyone who came her way and was a strong spirited woman who was never afraid to speak her mind. Her family was her greatest love, as she wanted to be surrounded by them at all times. She loved bingo night with her sisters, attending church with her brother, and playing cards with her kids. She was very proud of her grandkids and their achievements; and spoke of them whenever she got the chance. Her greatest gifts in life were her great-grandbabies, Avielle and Zaccaia. Anita will be lovingly remembered as an amazing, strong, beautiful, and caring woman.

Anita was a longtime resident of Carbon County and a devout member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church in Price.

She is survived by her life companion, Dennis Salazar, Price; two daughters and one son, Denise Robinson (Joseph), Spring Glen, Cleofas (Robert) Goodwin, Hyrum, Utah, Jacob Salazar, Price; two sisters and two brothers, Isabel Vega, Helper, Joseph R. (Mae) Aguayo, Albuquerque, NM, Emilio (Mary Ellen) Aguayo, Price, Rita (Pete) Elkface, East Carbon; four grandchildren, Tiffany Robinson, Danielle (Wyatt) Feuers, Kody and Chayo Goodwin; great-grandchildren, Avielle and Zaccaia Robinson; many loving nieces and nephews.
