Like most sports, wrestling in the Castle Country has become a year-round activity. From summer wrestling programs to the local schools’ seasons, it’s essential to continue learning and practicing to reach your full potential. From July 28 to 30, the Standing Star Wrestling Clinic will be held at Carbon High School. This is a great way to prepare for the upcoming season, and it’s not just for high school-aged students.

The camp will take place over three days and is open to both boys and girls aged six and up. There is also a beginner’s camp and an advanced camp.

“This event is not just a fundraiser—it’s a chance to build skills, sharpen technique, and grow stronger as a team”, a post on the Lady Dinos wrestling page states. “Whether you’re working on takedowns, escapes, mat control, or conditioning, this camp will give our wrestlers valuable time on the mat to level up and prepare for the upcoming season. We’re especially encouraging all of our girls on the team to participate—and to spread the word! Invite friends, classmates, and anyone interested in learning the sport. Let’s bring new talent into the room and show them the power of hard work, discipline, and team pride.”

The cost for the beginner’s camp is $75, and it will run from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The advanced camp will take place in the evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a fee of $100.
