Castle Country Radio, in partnership with KSL Sports, will include live video streams with Carbon High School sports broadcasts, in addition to Emery High School.
In 2024, Castle Country Radio launched an all-encompassing Emery High School broadcast channel, featuring live radio play-by-play calls with video. The partnership with KSL Sports allowed the live broadcasts to reach an even larger audience. Beginning with football this August, the same service will include Carbon High School.
This year marks the 35th anniversary of broadcasting Emery High School sports on KOAL 107.3 FM and 750 AM, and the 8th anniversary of broadcasting Carbon High School sports on KRPX The Peak. Carbon High School sporting events will continue to air live across Carbon County on KRPX The Peak at 95.3 FM, extending to 102.7 FM in Green River, 100.3 FM in Moab, and 95.9 FM in Castle Dale. Emery High School will continue its broadcasts on KOAL 107.3 FM and 750 AM throughout Eastern Utah.
A live video stream, accessible at KSLsports.com, the KSL Sports app, castlecountryradio.com, and YouTube, will enhance our award-winning radio play-by-play commentary. This new feature extends our already comprehensive coverage of local sports.
Castle Country Radio has a longstanding presence in local high school and junior college athletics, having partnered with USU Eastern for over 30 years. Emery and USU Eastern athletics will continue to be broadcast on KOAL 107.3 FM and 750 AM, with streams available at castlecountryradio.com.
In addition, Castle Country Radio serves as an affiliate for the Utah Jazz, Utah Utes, Las Vegas Raiders, Thursday Night NFL Football, and NASCAR. All college and professional sports coverage will continue to air on KOAL.
