Dennis Robert Parry passed away on July 27,2025 at his home in Price, Utah.
He was born on July 10, 1958 in China Lake, California to Arthur and Berneice Parry.
Dennis was a veteran, proudly serving six years with the United States Navy. Dennis was a devoted father and grandfather. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. Dennis was also dedicated to being an extremely hard worker, and with his various skills, he was able to work at different types of employments throughout his lifetime. Dennis valued various things, but family, religion, and being dependable were at the top of his list.
He had a big, servant heart and always put others first. Dennis was always the person everyone called if something was broken or help was needed. He was a skilled mechanic, knew much about electrical work, was a handyman in the home, always had a listening ear, and could brighten up any situation. He was always eager to give a helping hand.
On August 8, 2009 Hayden, his first grandchild, was born, and from this day, they became best friends. They were two peas in a pod and spent a lot of time eating cookies in milk, sharing a cheesecake out of the pan, breakfast at JB’s, wrestling any chance they got, and driving in the truck together. This was the start of his life as Grandpa, which quickly became his pride for the rest of his time.
Some of Dennis’s enjoyments in life were camping, fishing, wrestling with his grandkids, playing jokes and he always had the smartest comment to make. His musical ear was the source of many memories made with his family and when he couldn’t express feelings, the music he listened to did. Dennis’s latest enjoyment was sitting around a fire pit talking about life’s experiences. Dennis was always the life and joy anywhere he went, whether it was his loving presence or his jokes. Dennis always brought a smile to everyone’s face whenever he was around.
He is survived by his four daughters and one son, Melindy (Brendan) Hodson, Price; Art (Madison) Parry, Price; Jennifer (Lee) Hardy, Dyersburg, TN; Cynthia (Scott) Whiting, Price, Samantha (Ron) Neep, East Carbon, UT; brothers, Richard (Wanda) Parry and Mark (Krystal) Parry; along with his fourteen beloved grandchildren: Hayden, Kaydence, Tayton, Trenton, Jace, Ezra, Mason, Tristen, Whitley, Liam, Ashley, Ellie, Maddie, and Emily.
Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Berneice Parry; and brother, Bill Parry.
