Emery Lady Spartans tennis was on the court for the first time in the 2025 season as they traveled to Manti to face the Templars. Emery was able to capture wins in two matches but fell to the Templars 4-2.

The Lady Spartans’ two wins came on the doubles side of the card as the first doubles team of Izzie Turnerr and Ella Kelley claimed a victory in straight sets 7-5 and 6-0 over Manti’s Lacy Larsen and Morgan Hirschi. 

In third doubles, Talyn Morgan and Avana Ashby made quick work of Jaycee Nielsen and Kaitlyn Kroll, 6-2 and 6-1.

The Squad will now be off until Tuesday, August 19, when they will travel to Price to face the Carbon Lady Dinos. 

Matches will get underway at 3:30 p.m..
