The Lady Panther volleyball squad was back on the court last Thursday, 12 days before the start of school. The first two were on the road as the Panthers were handed a loss at Escalante, and they turned around to get the win at Bryce Valley. Monday, they played at home for the first time taking a loss at the hands of the Altamont Longhorns.

In the opener at Escalante, the Panthers kept things close but were edged by the Moquis in three sets, 25-19, 25-18, and 25-12.

Myleigh Petersen had a big game for the Lady Panthers, collecting nine digs and a pair of kills. Brooklyn Larsen and Xylee Perry each had six digs, with Larsen adding a service ace, and Perry two assists. Jazmyne Mills had three kills, two digs, and a block in the loss.

The next day, they were on the road again, this time in Tropic, to face the Bryce Valley Mustangs. Pinnacle put together a great run taking the 3-2 win 25-10, 19-25, 19-25, 25-21, and 15-5.

Petersen once again came up big for the Panthers with 10 digs and a pair of kills. Larsen earned nine digs, Mullis had two kills, two digs, and one block, and Perry had three assists in the win.

On Monday afternoon, the Lady Panthers faced off with the Altamont Longhorns. Altamont won the match in straight sets 25-13, 25-10, and 25-7.
As of the time of this writing, no individual stats were available.

Pinnacle will remain busy and at home for the rest of the week, with three games on the schedule, all at home.

Tuesday, they will welcome the Dugway Mustangs, game time is set for 3:15. Thursday, American Preparatory Academy West Valley will come to town, game time for this contest is set for 5:15, and then they will wrap up a busy week on Friday, the Wendover Wildcats will be in town with a 4:15 start.
