Boys and Girls Clubs of Utah County News Release
PROVO, Utah – Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County (BGCUC) today announced a significant expansion of its services with the opening of five new elementary school-based Club sites across Central Utah for the upcoming school year. This strategic growth underscores the organization’s long-term commitment to investing in children and strengthening communities throughout the region.
The new sites will provide safe, engaging, and enriching afterschool environments, offering hundreds of additional children access to vital programs focused on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and good character and leadership.
“We are incredibly excited about this significant expansion,” said David Bayles, Executive Director of Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County. “Opening these five new sites allows us to serve more children and families in Central Utah, providing them with safe spaces, caring and experienced staff, evidence-based programming, and fun activities that empower them to reach their full potential. This is a pivotal step in our long-term vision to broaden our reach and impact across the state.”
BGCUC extends a warm invitation to families whose children previously attended Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake’s Price Club. Families are strongly encouraged to explore enrollment opportunities at our new Central Utah locations, ensuring a seamless transition to continued high-quality, affordable care.
This expansion speaks directly to BGCUC’s strategic direction of deepening its investment in Central Utah. Currently, Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County proudly serves youth in 33 sites throughout Utah County and surrounding areas. Afterschool programs will be available at the following five elementary sites in the Price area: Creekview Elementary, Sally Mauro Elementary, Bruin Point Elementary, Castle Heights Elementary and Wellington Elementary.
