The Carbon Lady Dinos volleyball team hit the court on Tuesday night for their first action of the season, welcoming the Juab Wasps to “Jurassic Park.”  It was a five-set battle, but the Dinos would come away with the victory 3-2.

Carbon would jump out and set the tone in set number one with a 25-16 win. The Lady Dinos kept things close in sets two and three, but the Wasps took the edge in those 25-19 and 25-21 respectively.

The Lady Dinos fought back in the final two sets, taking a win in set four 25-22 and a big win in the final set 17-15.

Carbon will have a busy week as they welcome the Juan Diego Soaring Eagle to Price on the first day of school, Thursday. Then they will head south for the Richfield Friendly on Saturday where they will face the San Juan Broncos.

Game time for Thursdays game with Juan Diego is set for 6:30 p.m..
